Books: A healthy inclusive environment in the classroom is the ideal environment to foster learning and acceptance. Books are a wonderful way to build inclusivity for Muslim students. They need to see themselves in the curriculum and around the school.
Primary:
American Family Series: This is a series of short stories by Uthman Hutchinson. This series is grouped by Reading Level from Grades One to Six, centers on an American Muslim family living in a small American city. The parents, their three school-aged children, and their friends and relatives from America, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Malaysia form the characters of the Series. Example: Bad,Good Day (Grade 1).
